I’ve been sitting at this intersection recently - opening that which feels most authentic and in alignment with my deeper knowing, and noticing, with curiosity (of course), the barriers within me to embodying this truth. What is showing up within me that is needing love, attention, and a place to rest?
What do you notice within yourself as you sit at this intersection?
As the earth is starting to wake up, and the early flowers of spring are beginning to show their colors, I am sitting in reflection of what is emerging. The tender sprout that isn’t exactly sure what it is yet, or what it is meant to be, but noticing that something is here. With curiosity, I sit quietly and notice, open to what is present and ask for more information.
The teachings of many wise souls have been swishing around in me lately…
Andrea Gibson and holding my mortality in my awareness while living a life the is most true to me.
Martha Beck (The Way of Integrity) and connecting to what is authentic and barriers to living that life.
Lee Harris and the Z’s (The Future Human) and curiosity around the future of humanity and how to live in the energy and frequency that is in service to our future.
Miranda Macpherson (The Way of Grace) as I learn to relax my ego and inquire about what emerges when I do nothing.
Francis Weller (Wild Edge of Sorrow) and the gift of grief and where it shows up on my journey.
Mark Nepo (The Book of Awakening) and connecting to a daily practice of reflection, meditation and inquiry.
And many others…
What is the intersection of these wise souls? How do I integrate their wisdom into my life? What is the synthesis of their teachings and how do I bring this into my own work - personally and professionally?
I had hoped to have a new offering for the start of spring, but for the moment, I am sitting in the space of emergence…pulling on the thread, opening to what is here, and being curious about what I notice.
In the meantime, I recorded a short grounding meditation as an offering on this first day of spring- many of you who work with me are familiar with this practice. I am finding myself here with regularity - feeling my feet on the ground, connecting to the support of the earth, and finding the quiet.
