About Meagan Witt, LCSW
A Guide for adults Navigating Life's Biggest challenges and gifts
My professional journey has evolved over time and alongside my life experiences. Finding my specialty and “medicine” has been a decades long process and brought me to an understanding of what I bring to my clients. Coming to understand that therapy isn’t about “being happy,” but rather about living a more authentic, full and connected life.
After years as a high school social worker, I transitioned into private practice while navigating early motherhood. That experience taught me something profound: the most significant growth happens not in our stable moments, but in the spaces between who we were and who we're becoming.
That's where I meet my clients—in those brave, uncertain, transformative spaces.
My Approach: Where Body Wisdom Meets Deep Transformation
I am a somatic experiencing practitioner with a passion for accompanying clients on a journey to rediscover their most authentic selves. Our work will incorporate building capacity to tolerate the discomfort of your emotions, increasing nervous system regulation, bringing flow and energy back into your “river of life,” and building trust with your intuition, knowing and truth. I specialize in attachment wounds, grief, life transitions, LGBTQ+ issues and anxiety. I am excited about working with individuals who are eager to improve their overall quality of lie, reconnect with themselves and deepen their relationships with others.
Seeing and understanding the body's wisdom through the somatic lens is powerful, and we will use safety, your internal and external resources and the therapeutic relationship as the anchors to our work. Together we will learn to track and listen to the body and begin to understand the information it has for us.
Somatic work invites us to dig deeper into the patterns holding us back and limiting our healing. It has been my experience that reconnecting with the body and our truth is also a spiritual process that initiates a deeper growth. I look forward to meeting you on your journey.
I also offer ketamine-assisted therapy for clients seeking deeper access to their inner healing wisdom. This specialized modality creates space for breakthroughs that can take years in traditional therapy.
Who I Work With
My practice is designed for adults who are:
Desire to approach life from a place of vulnerability, presence, authenticity and connection to one’s knowing
Navigating major life transitions: Divorce, career shifts, identity evolution, or the profound transformation of parenthood
Seeking to heal from attachment and developmental wounds
Experiencing grief: Loss of a loved one, connecting with the places in oneself that have not known love, or ancestral and collective grief
Exploring identity later in life: Particularly adults discovering or embracing LGBTQ+ identity in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond
Committed to deep growth: Not just symptom management, but genuine psychological and spiritual transformation
Ready to invest in themselves: My clients are genuinely invested in their healing journey
My Philosophy
I believe therapy should be sacred work—not rushed, not transactional, but deeply honoring of your unique journey.
I accept United Healthcare and The Alliance and beyond these companies, I offer a sliding scale because I believe transformational therapy should be accessible to everyone at different financial stages of life. What matters most is your genuine commitment to the work.
My practice was featured in Voyage Denver!

Beyond the Office
I live in Golden, Colorado with my family, where you can find me hiking, practicing yoga, reading, or finding new ways to make my daughters laugh. I believe in the practices I teach—somatic awareness, presence, connection to nature, and the courage to keep evolving.
Working Together
If you're in a season of exploration, transition, or transformation—whether you chose it or it chose you—I'd be honored to walk alongside you. My clients often tell me they appreciate my warmth, my directness, and my ability to hold space for both the difficulty and the beauty of transformation.
This work requires courage. You're already showing that courage by being here.
