Self care - such an important piece of our daily lives, but also sometimes really hard to fit in. In an ideal world, we’re not limited by time, obligations, or money and we can take an hour long yoga class, go for walks in nature, and get manicures whenever we want. In the real world, sometimes we’re lucky if self care comes in 5 minute increments. With that in mind, I started braining storming ideas for 5 minute self care:
Wash your face
Brush your teeth
Listen to a song you like
Stretch
Cloud gaze
Pet your animal
Eat a fruit/vegetable
Send a nice text
Silence your phone
Light a candle
Take a visit to your “happy place” inside your head
Okay, those are just a few that I came up with in a short 5 minutes. That’s the other thing…I’m going to try to blog more, but my goal is to do it in 5 minute chunks as that is all that I really have time for right now. So, here’s my first 5 minute blog. Cheers!
