About Meagan Witt, LCSW
A Guide for Women Navigating Life’s Biggest Transitions
I didn't set out to become a therapist who specializes in transitions—I became one because I've lived them.
After years as a high school social worker, I transitioned into private practice while navigating early motherhood. That experience taught me something profound: the most significant growth happens not in our stable moments, but in the spaces between who we were and who we're becoming.
That's where I meet my clients—in those brave, uncertain, transformative spaces.
My Approach: Where Body Wisdom Meets Deep Transformation
I practice Somatic Experiencing (SE), a body-based approach to healing trauma and facilitating profound psychological growth. I trained directly through the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute, founded by Dr. Peter Levine, whose work has transformed how we understand the connection between our bodies and our emotional lives.
This isn't talk therapy alone. It's about learning to listen to the wisdom your body holds—the sensations, the tensions, the intuitive knowing that often gets silenced by our thinking minds.
I also offer ketamine-assisted therapy for clients seeking deeper access to their inner healing wisdom. This specialized modality creates space for breakthroughs that can take years in traditional therapy.
Who I Work With
My practice is designed for women who are:
Navigating major life transitions: Divorce, career shifts, identity evolution, or the profound transformation of motherhood
Exploring identity later in life: Particularly women discovering or embracing LGBTQ+ identity in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond
Committed to deep growth: Not just symptom management, but genuine psychological and spiritual transformation
Ready to invest in themselves: My practice is cash-pay, which means my clients are genuinely invested in their healing journey
My Philosophy
I believe therapy should be sacred work—not rushed, not transactional, but deeply honoring of your unique journey. That's why I stopped accepting insurance. It allows me to focus entirely on your healing rather than insurance company requirements.
I offer a sliding scale because I believe transformational therapy should be accessible to women at different financial stages of life. What matters most is your genuine commitment to the work.

Working Together
If you're in a season of transition—whether you chose it or it chose you—I'd be honored to walk alongside you. My clients often tell me they appreciate my warmth, my directness, and my ability to hold space for both the difficulty and the beauty of transformation.
